Dodgeball County Finals @ North Solihull Sports Centre - Wednesday 27th November 2024
Congratulations! Owing to their performance at the regional event your child has qualified for the County Final competition where they will represent the Central Warwickshire area against the best from around the county. The event will take place at North Solihull Sports Centre on
Wednesday 27th November from 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
Travel
Due to only having two weeks between the regional competition and the finals, booking transport has proved difficult. We have managed to secure a mini bus to take us to the event at 12pm however will be relying on parents to collect their child from the event at 4pm. We appreciate this may be difficult for some people due to work or lack of transport, so with your permission, we will add parents into a WhatsApp group where you can arrange lift sharing. Please indicate on the form if you are happy to be included.
Spectators
As it is the County Finals parents and family are welcome to come and support their children. There is plenty of parking at the leisure centre and a spectator area where you can watch the whole competition. If you can't make it we will make sure we take plenty of photos for you.
Lunches
The children will need a packed lunch on the day as we will be leaving at 12.00pm. We do suggest putting in an additional snack for later as it will be a long and busy day.
Clothing
The children may wear their PE kits for the day and will not need to bring in school clothes. They will be wearing the school kit but please make sure that they have the following:
Inhalers and Auto injectors
If your child uses either of the above please ensure they bring it with them on the day in a bag marked with their name.
If you are happy for you child to attend the event please complete the form below by Friday 22nd November. If you have not completed by this time we will assume your child does not wish to attend and offer the place to another. Should your child not wish to attend please indicate this on the form.
