Sports Clubs

Club Information 2022 – 2023

 

On Your Marks clubs run all Sports Clubs at St Anthony's. You can find out more information about our fun-packed sessions below. If you would like to sign up for any of our clubs please use the application form at the bottom of the page. Once completed, we will contact you to confirm your child’s place in their selected clubs.
Spaces are limited so don’t delay.

 

Before School- £3 per session
Morning clubs are Multi Sports sessions with an aim of getting the children ready for the day. They will be able to pick a different sport for each session.
The club begins at 8am and finishes at 9am when children will make their way to class.


After School Clubs - £3 per session
Our Afterschool clubs are focussed on particular sports and aim to help your children develop their skills and compete against their peers. They also offer pupils the chance to represent the school. Sessions begin at the end of the school day at and finish at 5pm.


Morning Drop Off
The gates/doors will not be open until 8am. Please wait with your child/ren until they are let into school and do not allow them to walk across the car park alone. The entrance for OYM clubs is through the Early Birds entrance. If you’re running late, please ring the bell at the entrance and we will come and let your child in.


Afternoon Collection
Pupils need to be collected promptly at the end of the session. You are welcome to collect before this time, however please contact school or OYM during the day to confirm you will be collecting early. Pupils will need to be collected from the front entrance of the school and will only be released to a recognised adult in accordance with the school’s safeguarding policy. If your child is being collected by someone who is not a family member, please make us aware before the start of the club. 


Collection password
When signing up you will be asked to provide a collection password, we will ask for this password to be used on collection by anyone we do not recognise. Please do not be offended if we do not recognise family members. If your child is being collected by another parent, you must let us know and notify the school. We will not allow them to leave until we have had confirmation from you.


Late Collection
Evening clubs finish at 5pm, if you are unable to arrive on time, please contact the instructor before the end of the club. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the end of the club without prior notification you will be charged a late fee of £1 for this period and a further £1 for each 5 minute period after 5.10pm. This will be applied to your next payment.

Absence
When you sign up to a club you a reserving your child’s place for the term. We appreciate that there may be occasions when your child is unable to attend. In these instances we ask you to notify us before the start of the session. You can do this by emailing or messaging us. Any payment made will be carried over to the next session. Failure to notify us will result in you being charged the full amount for the session.


Attending Multiple Clubs
By completing the sign-up form you give permission for your child to attend any of our On Your Marks clubs now or later in the year, there is no need to complete it again. However please ensure you contact us if your child would like to start a new club so we can confirm a space. Throughout the year clubs will change depending on the season and children are welcome to attend as long as this form has been completed.

 

Stopping Clubs
We will not be offended if your child decides that they no longer wish to attend a club. However, when you make a payment, you reserve your child’s place for the half term, and you will be liable for payment until the end of that half term. Should they wish to attend another club within the school please confirm this before the start of the next term and notify the club lead otherwise you remain liable for this payment as well. If your child leaves a club their place will be offered to someone else.

Events and School Teams
On occasions clubs may be cancelled due to competitions or school events; in these instances, you will be notified by email or text and any payment already made can be refunded or put towards another session. Places in matches/competitions against other schools will be available for those that attend certain clubs. We will always aim to arrange games on specific club nights where possible to avoid disruption to other clubs. Children that attend Football and Netball clubs and are in KS2 will be eligible for selection for School teams (See Club information for more details).


Clothing
Please ensure that your children have suitable clothing and footwear for the club/s that they are attending. They are welcome to wear what they wish as long as it is appropriate for sport, PE kits are ideal for indoor sports. Footballers will need to wear shin pads and suitable footwear (boots/astro turf shoes) to participate in the session.


Payment
Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer. Each session must be paid for in advance. If you make an advanced payment in full for the term it will reserve your child’s place.
If payment is not made your place will be forfeited and offered to another child.
If a club is cancelled for any reason, please contact us to arrange a full refund or alternatively you can put it towards another session. On Your Marks will send you a invoice at the start of each term, this will include payment details for each club.

 

Cash or Cheque - Cash payments can be paid directly to the instructor before the start of sessions or in a marked envelope to the school office. Please ensure your envelope has the child’s name, the club/s you are paying for, and the amount enclosed.
Cheques can be made payable to On Your Marks. Please be aware that payments are banked at the end of term, therefore it may take time for money to clear your account. 

 

Bank Transfer - Bank transfers must be made in advance for the entire term and not individual sessions. If your child does not attend a session your money will be returned or carried over to the next term's sessions (provided we are notified before the start of the session of the child’s absence). Please be aware that different coaches have different details you can find the correct details at the bottom of your invoice.

 

Invoices
If you would like to receive an invoice at the beginning of each term with a breakdown of clubs your child will be attending, please confirm this on the application form.

 

Late Payments
If payment is not made before Friday at 5pm on the week of the club, a 50p interest charge per session will be applied and you will receive a message to confirm this. Your child will not be able to attend the club again until the balance has been settled. Due to a large number of late payments this year we will be enforcing this strictly from September 2023.

Policies
On Your Mark’s clubs are additional care outside normal school hours. The club’s policies and procedures reflect those of the school and the extended documents can be accessed online or by request at the school office.
