    Football Festival @ Kingsley Playing Fields

    Dear Parents,

    We’re excited to let you know that your child, in Year 4, has been selected to represent the school at a Football Festival at Kingsley Playing Fields, Leamington Spa, on Tuesday 1st December.

    The children will take part in a competition against other local schools and will have the opportunity to represent the school.

    ⏰ Timings

    The festival will run from 9:30am–12:45pm.

    Children should be dropped off at 9:15am at the Kingsley Car Park, They do not need to come into school first.

    Children should be collected from the same location at 12:45pm and transported back to school. They will remain in their PE kit for the rest of the school day and will not need to change back into their school uniform.

    🚗 Transport

    We will require parent volunteers to help transport children to and from the event.

    If you are unable to transport your child yourself, we will set up a WhatsApp group to allow parents to coordinate lifts. Please make sure that you arrange transport in advance and are aware of who your child will be travelling with.

    Please remain with your child until they have been registered with Mr Bromley.

    Due to the number of children attending, parents will unfortunately not be able to stay and watch the event unless they are volunteering as a parent helper. We will, however, make sure we take plenty of photos for you to enjoy!

    🥪 Lunch & Snacks

    Please ensure your child brings a packed lunch, as we may not return to school in time for school dinners.

    They should also bring a healthy snack for a short break during the session.

    👕 Clothing

    Children should arrive wearing their PE kit and trainers — please do not send them in pumps.

    They can remain in their PE kit for the entire day and do not need to bring their school uniform.

    The children will wear the school Football shirts over the top of their PE kit.

    🎒 What to Bring

    Shin pads are compulsory. We do have a few spare pairs available, but we cannot guarantee that we will have enough for everyone, so please send your child with their own pair if possible.

    Children should also bring:

    • 🧦 Long football-style socks – to cover their shin pads
    • 💧 Water bottle
    • 🌧️ Weather protection – e.g. a waterproof jacket in case of rain
    • 🥪 Healthy snack
    • 💊 Inhalers or auto-injectors, if required – clearly labelled and handed to staff on arrival

    ✅ Consent

    If you are happy for your child to attend, please complete the consent form using the link below.

    If your child is unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer their place to another pupil.

    If we have not received a completed consent form by Tuesday 29th November, we will assume that your child does not wish to attend.
