Please read the information below carefully, which includes full event details and everything your child will need on the day.

Event Details

Date: Monday 8th June 2026
Time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
Venue: Kingsley Sports Fields, Sandy Lane, Leamington Spa

Athletics Events

A full list of the events your child will be participating in is included below. Please note that some athletes may be competing in multiple events and that event allocations are subject to change.

The winners of each event will progress to the Central Warwickshire Finals, which will take place on Wednesday 24th June 2026.

Travel

Children will travel to and from the event by coach. To allow your child to travel, we require parental consent. Please complete the consent form using the link provided at the bottom of this letter.

Packed Lunch

Children will need to bring a packed lunch, which they will eat at the venue before the competition begins.

Please ensure their lunch includes nutritious, high-energy foods to help sustain them throughout the afternoon. They should also bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.

What to Bring

PE Kit

• White or green T-shirt
• Black shorts
• Trainers (please note that sprint spikes are not permitted as the event takes place on a grass track)

Weather Protection

• Waterproof coat in case of rain

Essentials

• Water bottle
• Sun cream

Spectators

Unfortunately, parents and carers will not be able to spectate at this event due to the large number of children attending. However, should your child qualify for the finals, spectators will be welcome to attend and support them.

Medical Requirements

If your child requires an inhaler, auto-injector, or any other essential medical item, please ensure it is brought to school in a clearly labelled bag and handed directly to Mr Bromley on arrival.
