General Information

Year 2 are taught by Ms Verney and our teaching and learning assistant is Mrs Gregg (Mon-Thurs) 

All of the children are heard to read at least once a week, by an adult in school, so it is very important that that your child has their reading book and diary in school every day. Please aim to read with them every night, taking time to discuss what the story was about. Books from the library, other story books, picture books, newspapers, magazines and comics are all excellent reading materials and also provide children with the opportunity to experience different ways of writing and sharing information as well as an alternative to their school reading book.

Our P.E. days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure that your child has a full PE kit in school every day.

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING. It is amazing how easily the children lose or misplace items from their PE kits, their uniforms, their coats and even their shoes!
