At St Anthony’s Catholic Primary and Nursery we place great value on ensuring our pupils leave our school ready to take an active part in society, prepared for the next stage of their learning and motivated to achieve their full potential.
PSHCE (including new RHE content) is mainly taught discreetly in our curriculum through our topic themed blocks, as well as part of Science and the ‘Taking Care Project’. Our PSHCE curriculum is both underpinned and enriched by constant reference to our Catholic Values and Faith.
It aims to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of children at our school in order to prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
