Pupil Viewpoint - 2022-23
In February and March 2023 we asked all pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 to tell us their views on St. Anthony's Catholic Primary School and their own health and mental well-being. The results were very positive and reveal that 97% of pupils enjoy coming to school.

- 96% (100%) of pupils say that they feel healthy.
This has gone down slightly from last year and could be due to the amount of illness we have had in KS1 this year. - 96.5% (97%) of pupils say they look forward to school.
This has stayed the same in terms of numbers of children 2/57. - 100% (100%) of pupils say that they feel safe in school.
This is the same as last year. - 96.5% (93%) of pupils enjoy their learning.

| Healthy Eating - 24% of pupils have Takeaway food more than once a week- This is down 9% from last year -Continue to inform pupils and parents about healthy eating – In addition use COMPASS.
Health/Exercise/Social Skills - 55% of pupils do not attend any clubs outside of school. Ask people who run clubs outside of school to come in e.g. Scouts and Guides, Martial Arts etc and talk with the children about their club.

| Amount of Sleep - 58% of pupils say that they go to bed before 9.00 p.m. 15% say that they don’t have a set bedtime-This is 9% higher than last year. Continue to inform parents about suitable bedtimes for primary aged children especially if teachers are noticing a drop in a pupils’ learning and levels of concentration.
Healthy Eating - 20% of pupils have takeaway food more than once a week- This is down 4% from last year -Continue to inform pupils and parents about healthy eating – In addition use COMPASS.
Mental Health and Well Being - 47% of pupils keep it in when they feel sad- This is 2% down from last year. Continue to ensure that all children are supported in identifying adults they feel that they can talk to.
