Family Club

From next term we will be hosting Family club on a Friday evening.

If there was a silver lining to Covid, it was that in a lot of cases it brought families closer together and reminded us all of the importance of spending time together.
Sport offers a unique opportunity for families to work and learn together.
With this in mind we; will be introducing a Family Sports Club starting next term.

Rather than just putting up photos or sending home awards, we would like to give parents and families the opportunity to see how talented their children are and maybe discover some talents of their own.

The club will focus on striking and fielding games such as Rounders and Cricket and each week families will be able to go head-to-head to in different sporting activities.
If you would like to give it a go please complete the form at the link below and we will get back to you asap to confirm your place.

When is it?

Every Friday during the final term:
Friday 10th June, Friday 17th June, Friday 24th June, Friday 8th July, Friday 15th July

*Friday 24th June – Children will be able to attend this session, but parents/family members will not due to staff training

How much does it cost?

The club will be charged as usual at £3 per child, adults and family members come for free.
The price for the term is £18. All payments need to be made in advance of the session or at the beginning of term.

How does it work?

The children will leave class at 3.30pm and prepare for the club. Family members can join activities from 3.45pm after the children have got changed and been registered. The club will end at 5pm.

What if I don’t want to join in?

There is no obligation to join in with activities. You are welcome to come and watch or take part as a referee/umpire or scorer. If for any reason you cannot attend the children may still attend without an adult.

What do we need to wear?

PE kits are perfect for the children, although trainers are advisable (instead of pumps) as we will be on the field. For adults we suggest something sporty and definitely not jeans.
