21/07/17 Final day of the school year! It's PARTY TIME! 1

Thank you for being such a memorable and fun class to teach!  It has been a true honour to have been your teacher this year.

Mr. M.

Message in a Bottle Topic (June 2017)

As part of our journey through Michael Morpurgo's Why the Whales Came, the pupils were asked to imagine that they were one of the main characters, Gracie or Daniel, and write as if they were in their shoes, stranded on Samson Island.

Unfortunately, the audio quality of some of the videos is quite poor.  If we get time, we will re-record them, and improve the audio.

Curry Mania Music Project

This is an early recording of our composition, called Curry Mania. My apologies for the poor audio quality! I will endeavour to upload another copy using better recording equipment.
Relationship & Sex Education
These are two of the highly informative videos which we have been using as part of our RSE learning.  The pupils found them so useful, that they asked me to put them on our class page for future reference.

THE CURSE OF SAMSON ISLAND

This half-term, we have been reading Michael Morpurgo's fantastic story, 'Why the Whales Came'.  Taking inspiration from a background event in the story, the pupils wrote a first-person narrative recounting the experience of Zachariah Woodcock, a character from the novel.  Pupils then chose an appropriate video background to appear in, before recording themselves in front of the green screen.

More will be added over time, so keep an eye out!
